PAX ROMANA


Gaius Octavian Thurinus, which was Julius Caesar's nephew, was the first emperor of Rome. He changed his name to Augustus Caesar, and ruled as the Roman Empire from 31 BC to 14 BC. He made many changes, and the Roman Empire faced predigest amount of stability and prosperity during it's first two centuries, known as Pax Romana (Roman Peace).
